The Department of Environmental Health

The Department of Environmental Health ensures safe food handling practices, and oversees rodent control, waste disposal, environmental site cleanup, and other environmental health programs that protect public health and safety.

Environmental Programs (EPD) – Transportation and Land Management Agency

EPD is responsible for overseeing programs for three regional habitat conservation plans that is consistent with the county's existing land development process. Visit the EDP Website

Department of Waste Resources

The Riverside County Department of Waste Resources offers programs for household hazardous waste collection, recycling, composting, green cleaning and other efforts to promote a more environmentally responsible Riverside County.

Flood Control and Water Conservation District

The Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District protects people and property from flooding through responsible and efficient storm water management.
